Hello there lovelies, how was your day? Today was pretty much fun, cause I got to meet some of the guys again hehe. So I didn't go for sectionals by myself cause it was pretty late and I was sure I couldn't make it in time. (I woke up pretty early but I just nua-d in bed till pretty late so... yeah.) I headed for the library, and guess what I got?!
Yes, I got Rage Within, the sequel to Dark Inside!! -excited- I know how I was saying no thanks to another apocalyptic novel straightaway but sorry, I couldn't resist after reading the first chapter which is in Nothing's POV. *sheepish smile* (I shadn't spoil anything, go read Dark Inside first!) I was searching the rack for it to check if the library has it and TA-DA, it was just there. Then I read the summary and put it back, deciding I should get it another time. So I picked out another book, The Glimpse, and I looked back to Rage Within lol. Then I'm like, I should read the first chapter first haha. So I read and I was captivated, looked on the shelf and saw that there were no more copies of Dark Inside on the shelf anymore (there was two when I borrowed it, then I took one) and I was like: no more Dark Inside, it's a good book and people will be looking for the sequel soon. With that, I took Rage Within haha. Anyways The Glimpse looks like a good book so I shall try that out the next time I head to the library. :)
Moving on! We arranged to meet at eleven, but Isaac was still sleeping lol. So Daniel decided it was off. Disappointed me. I didn't want to go home, so I sat at my stop idling. It was the stop to transfer if suddenly they said it was on again so I just sat. And yes, Isaac woke up and we decided to meet so yup we met then had lunch before catching a movie. :) (I know I don't make sense haha.)
The movie wasn't that bad. Pretty funny and the last part was really sweet lol. :3 After catching the show, nothing much to do, so we decided to head home. Daniel suggested us going over to his place but since I'm meeting Jialin after they decided to do it on another day. Class bbq is coming up soon anyways, I hope! ^~^ Anyways I cancelled cause it was pretty obvious I wasn't wanted there so I headed home with Isaac instead! Opportunity missed :( but whatever, no hard feelings. I was getting tired anyways. Fell into deep sleep when I got home, to prove my point, haha! Alright let's get on with day sixxx.
Day 6 - What band or musician is most important to you?
Yellowcard, without a doubt!! The person who introduced them to me? My older brother, and I'm fricken' grateful to him for that. They're a flippin' awesome band, and their lyrics make sense. Unlike those club songs these days (no offence to anyone out there).
I first heard Yellowcard when I was seven I think (yes that's how young I started loving them, it's been eight years now<3 ) and I loved them already. My brother was going to start secondary school (high school) then and my younger brother and I would always be beside him while he used the computer. After listening to them for awhile, I started to figure our the lyrics and sung along whenever I heard their songs. As I got older, I started researching about them and even listened to them secretly when my brother wasn't home, hehe. (When we were younger we were all like: Don't copy me, don't copy my songs!) My favourite song then was Light Up The Sky, released in 2007, Paper Walls. Even though Yellowcard has released many new songs, it's still one of my favourite songs now. ^~^ It's a super meaningful song and you guys should check out. :)
Favourite album? When You're Through Thinking Say Yes (WYTTSY). It was just released last year after they were back from hiatus (I think.) and all the songs in that album are just beautiful. Don't be mistaken, I love ALL of their albums but WYTTSY is just my absolute favourite. Give the album a chance and you'll get what I mean. (-;
Even though I've been listening to all kinds of different music these days, Yellowcard will still be my ultimate choice, no matter what. Yellowcard's been there for pretty much my entire life. Although they're not physically here all the time, I can just feel them through their music. Whenever I'm upset, angry, happy, crying, laughing, etc, I just plug in my earphones and listen to Yellowcard. It always helps. Their lyrics are really super meaningful, I swear. They recently came to Singapore in September; I was e-l-a-t-e-d. It was one hell of an awesome night, I really enjoyed myself just jammin' and jumping and screaming and singing to their music, even though I was sick. I was coughing badly throughout the entire concert and my ears couldn't hear properly the next day and I was down with a sore throat but it didn't matter, they made it all worth it in the end. I really hope they come back to Singapore soon!!!!

So yeah, that's it. I guess I'm moreover done with this post? Haha yes, I've put a lot of effort into this post. And, I'm really tired now. It's currently 1:43AM here. :X zzz Oh yeah! Sorry for the lack of pictures with friends. :/ I really hope to have enough confidence to become one of those girls who ask their guy friends to take pictures with them and not get judged. That'd be really cool. Unfortunately, I don't think I see that happening anytime soon. :( I'm sorry. x-x Alright, I hope you enjoyed this post. Thanks for reading, goodnights! :*
